Today's Guest Is Katherine Becchina

EPISODE 121 - Katherine Becchina

With 10 years of experience, Katherine Becchina brings a unique background in event planning and strategic proposal, and marketing management in the A/E/C industry. She collaborates with sales teams to preposition for multi-million dollar business opportunities, develop compliant and responsive proposals, and create compelling content for shortlist interviews. This experience includes managing the proposal process, writing and co-authoring technical content, and designing the proposal response in Adobe InDesign. She leads and coaches capture teams in shortlist strategy sessions, interview preparation, and presentation development for client-facing and industry-focused events.
Katherine continually seeks opportunities for professional growth and development. She looks to professional associations like the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) to connect and engage with other professionals in the industry. Starting in 2017, Katherine participated in the mentorship program and served on the Marketing Committee for the Greater Midwest Chapter (GMC). In 2019, she expanded her involvement in the chapter and served as the Publications Chair, where she collaborated with other board and chapter members to develop quarterly newsletters that engage more than 730 readers. Currently, Katherine is serving as the Vice Chair for GMC and is excited for 2022 when she will serve as the chapter’s President.

Fun Facts!
Katherine love listening to true crime podcasts, reading, biking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and new puppy, Remy. She is currently reading Dare to Lead by Brene Brown and listening to her podcast series. She believes it is a good one if anyone is looking to expand their leadership skills! Growing up, Katherine was obsessed with horses, and strongly feels, if she won the lottery today, the first thing she would do is buy a ranch and have horses.
