Leveraging Constructive Conflict
- Anatalia Macik
Too often in my early career I would choose to avoid conflict over speaking up. Being typically the youngest, one of a few women and/or the only minority, I never felt comfortable speaking up. A few things changed to help me find my voice and find success. I first accepted the worst case outcome as a possibility, then I focused on my intent, and finally I realized the cost of not speaking up was too high.
