As we celebrate Black History Month, I am reminded of the countless struggles and injustices that black individuals and communities have faced and continue to face today. My own story is one of hope, determination, and the power of one man to create change.
My name is Baskar Sundaram, and I am the founder of Baachu, a training organization that is dedicated to providing professional development opportunities to underprivileged communities and emerging economies. Baachu’s mission is simple: to provide equal access to education and to give people the tools they need to succeed.
However, my journey has not been without its challenges. The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) recently revoked Baachu’s Approved Training Organization (ATO) status, accusing us of establishing a competitor brand and promoting our own certifications as a cheaper alternative. These allegations are not only false but also deeply hurtful, and I am determined to fight against this unjust decision.
I believe that education is the key to creating a fairer and more equal world, and it is this belief that drives my passion for helping others and my commitment to making a difference.
This is why I am launching a campaign to bring attention to the APMP’s discriminatory actions and to call for a fair and equal future for all.
Starting February 13th, I am embarking on a 14-day campaign against discrimination, “Rising Above Adversity: The Baachu Story”The goal of this campaign is to educate, inspire, and mobilize individuals and communities to join the fight against discrimination in all its forms.
As I begin this 14-day plan during the Black History Month, I am reminded of the many black leaders and activists who have come before me. Their sacrifices, their courage, and their determination have paved the way for us to continue the fight for equality and justice. I am filled with a sense of pride, hope, and determination. Pride in the many sacrifices and contributions made by black individuals and communities throughout history; hope that one day, we will live in a world where everyone is treated with equality and justice; and determination to do my part in creating that world.
It is my hope that Baachu’s story will inspire others to join us on this journey and to rise above adversity.
The question remains: will Baachu succeed in his mission against APMP discrimination and lead a movement for justice? Will I be able to overcome the obstacles and become a true leader?
To be wrongly accused and punished for something you did not do is a devastating blow. It’s a burden that can weigh on you for the rest of your life. It took me a while, now I have decided to fight back and not let this injustice defeat me.
I know that I cannot do this alone, which is why I am reaching out to you. I am asking for your help in spreading the word about Baachu’s story and our mission to create a better future for all. Join me on this journey as we rise above adversity and create a better future for all.
