A communications and bid management professional, Thane Joske has 25+ years professional marketing, public relations, bid management and business development experience.
Thane has worked on hundreds of bids and proposals and has successfully won and retained significant contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Thane has achieved success across a range of industries, including professional services, technical advisory, Public Private Partnership projects, and has broad experience across the professional services, design and construction, finance, healthcare, telecommunications and IT industries.
Thane translates and communicates complex service concepts from technical experts into words understood by non-experts.
Her ability to influence ensures that internal stakeholders deliver the required output on time and is consistent with client requirements regarding content, competitive messaging, structure, look and win themes.
Thane commenced her career in public relations and has a Bachelor of Arts (Professional Writing) from Deakin University and an MBA from RMIT. Thane is a member of the Australian Professional Services Marketing Association, the Property Council of Australia and the Facility Management Association.

03.22: Baskar Sundaram –Â Let’s go back to the very beginning, TJ. We will Thane as TJ. So, lets go back to the very beginning, TJ. Where were you born and let’s talk about your high school and education.
04.46: Baskar Sundaram –Â Â Any childhood memories come to your mind?
08.47: Baskar Sundaram –Â So Bachelor of Arts, Professional Writing. That’s an interesting course. And then you went on to continue your career of Public Relations. Talk us through about your Public Relations career.
11.00: Baskar Sundaram –Â You are right. Here we are. Why are we doing this in proposals with all this interests. That’s what fascinates me. Because we all see things and process things in very different ways. And it all comes from our interests, what we study and our skills and stuff. That’s fascinating. But you did made a choice when you entered the corporate career. So, wat happened then?
0.37: Baskar Sundaram –Â 13 years of running your own company and you mentioned your father was a Chief Exec. So there could be something within you. How is it running your own entrepreneurial venture?
Talk us through any interesting projects that you have done so far. And then, we can look into your personal life and career.
