Jenny Roemer is a Senior Proposal Manager based in Minnesota and has worked in Fleet Management for over 30 years. For the last nine years, as a passionate proposal professional, working on U.S., Canadian and Global bids, Annual Client Assessments, and managing the content database and the sales enablement platform.

 

                Before this, Jenny worked as a Digital Analyst and Client Success Manager. She has developed strong project management and client service skills in these positions. Jenny also served on the board for the Greater Midwest Chapter of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, where she is the Membership Chair and helped to grow the membership.

Talk us through your association with the Great Midwest Chapter, your role, your past roles and the proposal fair that’s coming along.

32.18 – Baskar Sundaram – Jenny, how did you cope with yourself during  the Covid times? Because I know in the March 2020, when officially everybody went to lock down all the way to 2022. This two years were a stretch for everybody. I know not everybody was okay all the time but somehow we pulled out together. How did you help yourself  and your family?

37.14: Baskar Sundaram – Coming back to the proposal career which I know after twenty years, you just entered proposal career I know you have been  part of your company, you have been part of APMP  Chapters. You have also been a friend to many people. What’s the one common myth about this profession that you would like to debunk, Jenny? 
 
39.38: Baskar Sundaram – So, now having known this is the common myth, what advice would you give to fellow bid and proposal professionals?
 
41.51: Baskar Sundaram – If you are to have this conversation about your life and career in three years time, Jenny, say 2025 August, and if you are looking back, what do you think should have happened, the three things that you consider, you know what, these three things were amazing for me? Why did I do these three things?
